About

Inspire the next generation.

We believe in the next generation of software developers. The coming generation of developers will have access to an unprecedented amount of computing power and will revolutionise the way we live. It is paramount that we inspire a passion for coding in more of our students, and create a generation of technologically informed adults.

Offer an opportunity.

Our club hosts mini-hackathons that last for 2 hours every week, Wednesday after school, where we introduce a theme or workshop that the students can base their projects on. Our goal is for students to have a tangible working product that they can be proud of by the end of the meeting.

Meet the people behind VikingsDev

Our Team.

For the past 6 years, programming, computers, and technology has been my biggest passion. I've participated in several hackathons, designed many games, and I even have a YouTube channel dedicated to digital arts, technology, and programming. As the vice president, I hope to inspire many young hackers to find their own passion in technology through my leadership and workshops.

I'm a hobby programmer that enjoys solving problems with technology. While I regularly participate in hackathons, my artistic passion is photography and digital design. My vision for this club is to inspire the next generation of programmers, as we enter an age of unprecedented innovation and computer capabilities. As president, I undertake the challenge of inspiring young students to code, while overseeing all aspects of VikingsDev.

Ever since grade 8 I have been intrigued by computers and all of the amazing things that they can do. In my spare time I enjoy coding, 3D modelling and animation, swimming, and reading. All these activities allow me to feel free and creative while thinking critically. As a mentor, I will be there to guide and support the promising young coders of VikingsDev.

5 years ago, I first delved into the subject of technology and computers and found myself learning to program, creating personal projects that I shared with friends. More recently, I have become interested in 3D modelling and animation. I will assist in your coding as a mentor of VikingsDev.

Hi!! I was introduced to an endless world of programming and game design through North’s Coding Club and now, I hope to help new coders find their interests. Specifically, I enjoy playing around with different game engines such as Unity, Unreal and Gamemaker.

I, like many of you, see great value in coding. Though I am personally unfamiliar with the subject, I can and will do my best to realize that value by providing organizational and logistical support to the club. Feel free to contact me about upcoming club activities or about any questions you may have!
